John S. Erwin is the senior shareholder of Erwin & Marcus, P.C., successor to the law firm of Hill, Ullman & Erwin P.C, of which he was a founding partner of in 1978.  He and the firm concentrate in the areas of Wills, Trusts, Gift and Estate Tax Planning, Generation Skipping Transfer Tax Planning, Business Succession Planning and the Probate and Administration of Trusts and Estates.
John is active in several charitable and civic endeavors in addition to serving as an advisor to reachwithin.  He is a supporter of Empire State Pride Agenda, New York’s statewide LGBT civil rights and advocacy organization; and a consultant for the Peconic Land Trust for Southampton, New York. John also serves on the board of directors for the Southfork Land Foundation and the Planned Giving Advisory Council for New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
John graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Arts and received a Juris Doctorate from Union University Albany School of Law.  John is a member of the New York Bar Association.

Moira Hennessey

Moira Hennessey

Moira is a Psychologist and Public Health professional. Over the past 12 years, Moira has worked as a psychotherapist in New York, Boston and East Africa, focusing on trauma survivors and children and families. Her research interests include cross-cultural mental health, consequences of adversity, and resilience processes. Dr. Hennessey has consulted for numerous international organizations in humanitarian contexts throughout the world, providing assessment, training and program development in areas of child and adult mental health, community and gender-based violence, and public health. Throughout her work, she employs a strength-based approach to supporting individuals and communities. Dr. Hennessey holds a PhD in clinical psychology from Boston University, and a MPH in global health and humanitarian studies from the Harvard School of Public Health.

John F. Hornstein, Ed.D.

John has worked in the field of early child development for over 35 years. After 15 years working with children and families and affecting public policy in Maine he received his doctorate at Harvard University in Human Development and Psychology. His research focuses on the emotional development in young children with additional interest in cross-cultural issues, parenting, and creativity. He participated in the development of the AIMS Indicators of Emotional Health, and conducted research on its psychometric properties and application to families of children with special needs. John was on the faculty of the Department of Education at the University of New Hampshire for 13 years. As a research associate at Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, John has served as a faculty member of the Touchpoints Project. His other scholarly interests include cross-cultural childrearing, creativity, and narrative.

He is the founder and CEO of Urban OM, Center for Yoga and Meditation in Stockholm (www.urbanom.se) and is also the creator and founder of The Golden Guru event that launched in 2012 and is now expanding internationally. As a yoga and meditation teacher, Neo is qualified to the highest standard set by The Yoga Alliance in the United States and is certified to train other yoga teachers. Neo holds a degree in law and is a graduate of Columbia Business School Institute for Not-for-Profit Management.

Sharon Lickerman

Sharon has been a Montessori educator sine 2000 and has guided children as well as their parents through development by providing education and support. She is currently Head of School at the Ressurection Episcopal Day School in New York City.  Having recived a B.A. in psychology from the University of Texas in Austin and an M.A. in special education from NYU, she brings rich experience in child development from a social, emotional and intellectual perspective. Sharon has experience in different non-profit organizations whose shared purpose is to enrich and improve children's lives. She is a trained yoga instructor for both children and adults and is deeply dedicated to the growth, development and wellbeing of children.
